Joshua Tan

Joshua Tan first burst into the entertainment scene with his role as "Ken Chow" in Ah Boys To Men. Now, 4 years on, Joshua has grown and matured into a fairly experienced actor with a variety of skill sets he has picked up after numerous productions and live events.

It was in Ngee Ann polytechnic that Joshua had his first experience with acting, taking a basic course under the tutelage of Kym Campbell who's CV includes positions at the BBC, ABC and Bloomberg. After getting positive feedback and being encouraged to pursue acting as a future career, Joshua served his time in the Singapore Armed Forces and then quickly nabbed the lead role in the highest grossing Singapore trilogy, Ah Boys To Men.

4 years on, Joshua's career highlights include numerous dramas, 5 local films (2 in Mandarin and 3 in English), magazine covers, live hosting events, television hosting engagements, and 2 sell out concerts (Ah Boys To Men) in Singapore and Malaysia. Apart from acting, Joshua is a keen martial artist, having practised the Thai martial arts, Muay Thai for over 8 years. Being an avid fitness buff, Joshua has experienced most sports and also played semi professional football in the Singapore football league. Joshua is stunt trained in hand to hand and armed combat and excels in roles with high physical requirements. Aside from fitness, Joshua is also very active on social media on apps such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat. While he does not blog anymore due to time constraints, Joshua is also a keen leisure writer and enjoys reading various genres of books.

Charity work is a big part of Joshua's life and he is most passionate about helping underprivileged children from all walks of life. While he does not have endorse a official charity organisation yet, Joshua is more than open to explore possibilities where he can use his unique position to help other people's lives.
